Mr. Pearlman joined Goldmark in 2008. Since then, he has been involved in client relationships and transactions involving aerospace and clean energy technology, consumer products, specialty wholesale distribution and financial services.



Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pearlman worked inside major publicly- and privately-held corporations for more than 30 years. He began his career in technical writing at NYU's Engineering Research Division and later served as an administrator in the relations and utilities department of a General Electric defense industry facility. He has held technical writing and management posts at IBM development and manufacturing facilities in upstate New York, as well as at IBM's major computer group headquarters in New York's Westchester County. Mr. Pearlman has also held senior management positions with Chemical Bank, Loral Corporation, privately-held Thyssen-Bornemisza and Indian Head, its publicly-held, diversified U.S. industrial subsidiary.



In 1983, Mr. Pearlman opened Stuart Pearlman & Company, building it into a mid-sized financial and public relations consulting firm until it was acquired in 1997 by a high-tech San Francisco-based agency. After successfully completing the deal's contractual "earn-out," he joined forces with The Torrenzano Group, where he further developed capabilities on behalf of energy- and technology-related companies and honed his crisis management skills.



Over the years, Mr. Pearlman's clients have included U.S.-based and overseas industrial corporations, established and start-up high-technology and alternative energy companies, name-brand financial institutions, retailers, consumer products manufacturers, and leading professional and business services firms.



A graduate of New York University, Stuart is a member of The Wisemen, where he also served as chairman, and and has served on the executive committee of the Board of Trustees of Scarsdale Synagogue.
