LLOYD W. SINGER | Senior Advisor

Prior to joining Goldmark Advisers, Mr. Singer was President and CEO of training resource and services provider Learning Communications, LLC, a company which he co-founded in 1999.  Learning Communication’s mission is to acquire and build companies in the resources and technology sectors of the training market.



Additionally, Mr. Singer had a prestigious twenty-year career with Motorola, Inc., covering a variety of management roles in two-way radio communications, engineering management, production management, healthcare communications, industrial communications and training. He created a video training products division within the company (Motorola Teleprograms, Inc. - MTI) to serve the training needs of the law enforcement market. He and his managers bought MTI in an LBO, built the business to over $5MM in revenue, and sold it to Simon & Schuster for $5.3MM.  Mr. Singer also previously served as Chairman of the Simon & Schuster Training & Education Division, where he merged MTI with Coronet Films, acquired distribution rights to Learning Corp. of America's library and led the company to first year revenues of $19 million and 15% EBITDA.



Mr. Singer holds a B.A. and B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Columbia College & Columbia Engineering School (New York City) respectively. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD). He is active on LinkedIn and Facebook. He is a retired Naval officer and now resides in Lincolnshire, Illinois with his wife and daughter.
