STANLEY J. KOSTMAN | Senior Advisor
Mr. Kostman is rejoining Goldmark as Senior Advisor, specializing in the food, beverage and packaging industries. Mr. Kostman's experience covers the breadth of these industries, from food and beverage, manufacturing and marketing, to distribution and retailing. Assignments led by Mr. Kostman have included acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, business and economic analyses, joint ventures, licensing, fundraising, and valuations. Clients served include Bacardi Corporation, Kraft, Nestle, PepsiCo, Guinness PLC, Otsuka Pharmaceuticals and Suntory. From 1995 to 2008 Mr. Kostman was President of Beverage Marketing Corporation, the leading beverage industry consulting and financial advisory firm, where he is still affiliated as a consultant.

In 1986, Mr. Kostman joined Goldmark Partners (predecessor to Goldmark Advisers), a full service investment banking boutique, with special experience in food, beverage and publishing transactions. Prior to that, Mr. Kostman was President of Bacardi Corporation's Castleton Development Corporation subsidiary, its U.S. development and diversification arm. Mr. Kostman helped launch Bacardi into the specialty food, beverage and soft-drink bottling business via a series of strategic acquisitions. From 1973 to 1984, Mr. Kostman was Director and then Vice President of Corporate Development and Planning for St. Joe Minerals Corporation, where he was responsible for acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures valued at more than $1 billion.

Mr. Kostman has an extensive background in both consumer and industrial product marketing, and corporate finance. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the Pace University Graduate School of Business, teaching courses in mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance. Mr. Kostman received an M.B.A. from The City University of New York, an M.S. in metallurgy from New York University and a B.S. in engineering from the University of Michigan.
