Mr. Farkas has been in the financial services for over 30 years, beginning his career after graduating business school in 1986. Mr. Farkas's career started in 1986 as an investment banker with Ladenburg Thalmann and Co. focusing on the media and entertainment industries. He then spent 8 years in institutional sales and trading  working for NatWest Securities and Needham and Company. After Needham, Mr Farkas made the transition to the buy-side where he spent 10 years as a portfolio manager working for hedge funds as well as long only funds at CRT Capital in Connecticut and Paradigm Capital Management in New York City. Over the past 7 years, Mr. Farkas went to the Principal side working in the private equity business for Monument Capital Group based in Washington D.C. and 1st One Hundred LLC based in Las Vegas, Nevada. At both Paradigm (Small Cap Growth Fund) and CRT (Mid-Cap Growth Fund), Mr. Farkas was the number one stock picker. 

 

Mr. Farkas Graduated from Tufts University in 1984 with a B.A. in Political Science and Graduated from the Stern School of Business at New York University in 1986 with an M.B.A. in Finance
